| 1961 |
The root of Daigen Tanpan
Co.,ltd.("DGI") goes back to the establishment of Omura
saw industry in 60's.
We started our buisiness as a
manufactures of *saw under private
management in Osaka.
In the high-growth era,our sales
rapidly increased. In
those days, it was mass production due to higher the
gross national product in Japan.

The company name is changed to Omura
Seizaisho and started lumbering.Seizaisho means a sawmill
in Japanese.

| 1982 |
The company name changed Daigen Tanpan Co.,
Ltd and incorporated in this year.Still, we've started
to handle of venner 12years
ago.
Our determination to sawing for veneer manufacturers formed the basis of Starting of DGI.
The name of our company, Daigen stem from the initial
Chinese characters of our *President's name.And,read them
in other ways. *Tanpan or *Tukiita means Face Veneer in
Japanese."DGI" stand for Daigen Industory.

1988 |
However,as the entire venner
buisiness has fallen into a structual recession and
sluggish consumption in these years, our buisiness
performance has not been favorable. The actual logs
yields of self-supply is lower than 20
percentage in Japan.To make matters worse,insufficiency of
Japanese fine veneer logs under these circumstances. In
order to get over the difficulties, we started to buy in
hard wood veneer logs to the wide range of the world,from
the places in USA to the Eurasia Continent.

In 1993, we were honored by All-Japan
venner alliance and association for our works as
Japanese ash venner.
In 1995, by Osaka prefectual
goverment for our Japanese Sen venner. In 2002,by
All-Japan venner alliance and association for our
American white oak venner. In 2003,by the Load Mayer of
Osaka for our Japanese birch
venner.

| 2004 |
This
year marked a milestone for our company. In
this spring,we're awarded our buisiness efforts by Kinki
agricultual administration for our Japanese birch
venner at an All-Japan venner conventional for sell on
the spot held annually.
We've received many awards
for our excellence and highly rated Japanese birch
venner. We offered a goverment guest house award-winning
Japanese birch fliches through an incorporated company.
Also,offered is Japanese birch veneer to Sakai
municipal assembly hall in Osaka Prefecture.
These
anecdotes're described that Best Japanese birch veneer
means DGI. We're unique within Japanese birch and
Japanese Ash.
In Nov of this year,DGI welcomed
our new President Nobuyuki Omura and New Brands. We're
proud to announce that our President Genichi Omura has
changed Exective Officer.
We've
experienced various changes in 2004.

2008 |
We have addressed various enviromental issues concerning the prosperity wood veneer industories.
First of all,We have entried our products to the legal(=legal)-wood's navigation web site, provided by Council for Tackling Illegal Logging and promotion of Goho-wood.
In December,We were commended our activities by The Forestry Agency and thire Committee.
